Welcome CT Educators!
The Connecticut State Department of Education is pleased to provide the Defined Careers platform at no cost to all public schools in Connecticut. Defined Careers provides personalized career experiences through hands-on career-focused projects.
Defined Careers is a project-based solution that allows students to explore and experience careers. It includes a career assessment that guides students toward real-world projects across recommended career pathways. With over 79 career pathways and 450+ career-focused projects across 16 career clusters, Defined Careers empowers educators to provide all students with equitable access to careers.
How do I access Defined Careers?
Defined will attempt to contact your district, but we also encourage district leaders to reach out to Defined to schedule an Implementation call. Once your preferred method of logging in is established, teachers will access Defined at www.definedlearning.com, while students will access Defined at https://users.definedlearning.com/signin/student. Defined works with login providers such as Google, Clever, and Classlink to provide easy access to the content.
Complete this form to get your school or district started on the platform or email Carlie Brandt at carlie_brandt@definedlearning.com.
